SAMU - Planning for the Unplanned

SAMU - Planning for the Unplanned

Tuesday, September 19, 2023 (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Inevitably in life, we will all experience an unexpected and traumatic incidents.  Unfortunately, many people do not plan for such incidents because we never expect them to happen to us.  Examples include violence on the jobsite, an employee that commits suicide, a natural disaster that destroys your office building, and too many others to list.  Craig Miller with CMG Security Consultants and Jeff Wolfla with BSBD Insurance Group will lead us in a thought-provoking discussion centered around the components you should consider when creating the shell of a plan to manage a crisis in the workplace.  Their presentation will focus mainly on the jobsite, but the information can be applied to the business office and your personal life.  A plan is like insurance in that you hope you will never need it, but you should create a plan for the unexpected events you may face throughout your career.
