Strong financials aren't just about knowing whether your company made money last month. They influence your ability to borrow, bond, grow, and take advantage of new opportunities.

Join us for this SAM University Financial Literacy class as we connect the dots between maintaining healthy financial statements and how the outside world evaluates the financial strength of your construction business.

Tim Pike with The Bonadio Group will start with the foundation: keeping your company's financials accurate, organized, and useful. He'll discuss why contractors need reliable financial information throughout the year, common areas that can create problems, and best practices for maintaining financials that give you a clear picture of your company's performance.

Then, Rick Kastner with Frost Bank will take the conversation one step further and explain how those financials affect your company's bankability. Learn what lenders are looking for when evaluating a contractor for financing or a line of credit, which components of your financial statements receive the most attention, and how stronger financial practices can position your company for future growth.

We'll also explore the connection between financial strength and bonding capacity, including how the same financial information may be viewed when determining whether your company is ready to take on larger or more complex work.

This class is designed to help construction business owners and leaders better understand not just how to keep their financial house in order, but why it matters.
